Angel Gomes has confirmed he is leaving Manchester United to improve after earning his first England call-up

He joined United in 2006 at the age of six and progressed through the academy to the first team, but only managed 46 minutes of Premier League action before moving to Lille in 2020.

“When I left Manchester United I had the mindset to ยูฟ่าเบท improve as a player and a person,” Gomes said.
“From my journey, I know that I will eventually be able to forge a path to where I am now.”
“Leaving a club I’ve been at since I was six years old and stepping into something unknown was difficult for me personally,”
“Since then, the path has been full of obstacles, but there have also been difficult times, but being in this position at this time makes it all worth it.”
In addition to his form for Lille, Gomes has represented England from under-16 to under-21 level. Winning both the under-17 World Cup in 2017 as well as the under-21 European Championship under Carsley in 2023.
